Christmas Marathon
After four Christmas celebrations in Indy, three Christmas get-togethers in Evansville, a baby shower for Aunt Liz, and a partridge in a pear tree, we have completed 2006’s Christmas marathon.
It’s finally time to post some pictures from the series of Christmas parties.
On Christmas Eve, we visited Christy’s aunt’s sister-in-law’s house where Santa showed up for the kids! After telling a few stories, including the Nativity story, Santa looked into his bag to see if he had any presents for the kids.
Aiden’s present was pulled out first. Aiden stood up before the jolly old elf could even finish saying his name. Needless to say, he was excited to see Santa again.
The Santa mystique was alive and well in the Todd household this year!
Alyson was next. She asked him again for a Baby Alive on Christmas morning.
He then gave her a new Barbie doll.
That night in bed, Alyson began crying because she hadn’t gone to sleep yet. She was scared that Santa wasn’t going to come because she wasn’t asleep yet.
Yes, Santa came through and delivered the highly coveted Baby Alive for Christmas morning.
Alyson had been asking for her for months. She eats, drinks, talks, sucks a pacifier, and even poops! What else could a little girl ask for?
After spending almost a week in Indy, it was time to head on to Evansville. On Saturday, the extended Todd family got together with all of our aunts, uncles, cousins, and counsins-once-removed.
The Todd tradition of supporting the Hoosiers was passed on to Aiden when he received his first IU t-shirt from Uncle Dale.
Sunday was the last of the Christmas events for 2006. It was also New Year’s Eve and a baby shower for Liz…talk about a long day!
Here’s Alyson the Reindeer
This might very well be Aiden’s favorite Christmas present of all time. He hasn’t taken his helmet off since unwrapping it – except when we’ve made him take it off to eat and sleep.
Peyton Aiden, indeed.

Aiden the little COLT
I am so happy Aiden got something that really got him excited, not that he wasn’t worth the other presents but you can tell by his face and smile this was the bomb. I know he likes that helmet.

Re: Aiden the little COLT
Remember that he also ripped off his sweater to put on the Colts t-shirt that you guys got him.
He’s gone off the deep end, I think. And I don’t think we’d have it any other way.
Christmas
Glad you guys made it home safely–what a long trip. We really felt for you guys. Hope everyone is recovering. We hate saying goodbye to you guys.
