New Addition!
Yep -we got another dog.
We were about to leave the Animal Shelter when they brought her in. She’s a Beagle mix, with apparently some Pointer in the equation. As soon as she was brought in, we knew she was coming home with us.
She’s 10 weeks old, loves to play, and is very good with the kids. Aiden loves wrestling with her and Alyson likes having someone to hop around with.
Diego seems to be adjusting to her fine.
Although the people who brought her to the Shelter said they couldn’t get her housebroken, she’s already gone potty outside twice since she got home this afternoon. I know there will be struggles, but she’s doing alright for now.
I’m sure more pictures will be posted later.

Too cute! I can see why you couldn’t leave her there. When do you need me to dogsit again?
She’s coming up with us over Thanksgiving. You’re welcome to come visit her anytime!
And you’re right. She’s way too cute.
I want you to know that I was deeply disappointed to find out that the “new addition” was a dog.
What did you think it would be – a cat?
If you thought it would be a baby…well…I think I would have told you that in person – don’t you?
And, what you need in that house is more cute things! Why, when I come over for small group, it’s already about to explode with cutness. Perhaps I should skip Wednesday night so that the cuteness quotient can go down a little bit. After all, your house and the lives of your small group members are at stake.
Yeah. Cuteness shrapnel would definitely have a negative impact on the Community Group.
Of course, it would be a memorable experience.
We’ll probably keep puppy in our room for most of the night anyway. I think it will be safe for you to come.
she is adorable!! her feet are huge. she’s gonna be a big girl! congrats. kiss her nose for me. (and smell that puppy breath. i may be odd, but i think that’s the best smell in the world. if only they could make puppy breath candles, i’d be set)
OK…I’ll…smell…her…breath…
That’s definitely not something I hear every day. I’m not sure how much of a market there is for puppy breath, though.
I’ll post more pictures soon.
I meant to say “Puppy Breath Candles”
forgot the candles
silly me.

Re: a new niece!!
oh.. WHAT’S HER NAME???
Re: a new niece!!
Bella.
Or Belle, I guess. It’s pronounced “Bellah,” if that helps. There’s a long story behind the name. We never talked about spelling.
I’ll confirm with Christy and post the official spelling later this weekend.
Re: a new niece!!
For the record, it’s Bella.
