Can we fix it now – please?
After last night’s huge game, does anyone still think that the ‘experts’ and computers should still be picking a national champion in football?
Everyone (including me) thought the Cards would run all over poor little Rutgers. Just shows what we know. All the more reason to let the national champion be decided on the field. Isn’t it time for a playoff? Even if that doesn’t happen (and it won’t), why not just go back to the way it was before? Those ‘national champions’ are just as legit as the BS system we have now.
St. Louis surprises the ‘experts’ in the World Series. Rutgers stuns the ‘pundits.’ George Mason makes the Final Four and Florida wins the NCAA basketball tournament. Maybe 2006 is the year of the underdog?
That’s a great trend for the Hoosiers heading into the Michigan game tomorrow. Hey – one can always hope!
