That’s What I Like to Hear

Here’s a quote found in the Indy Star from Bud Mackey, the first recruit from Kentucky to choose IU in 37 years:

“I attended Midnight Madness at Indiana and when I was going home, I told myself that there was no doubt that was where I wanted to play,” Mackey said. “I’ve been to Midnight Madness at Kentucky and it was nothing like Indiana. That was unbelievable.”

That’s what I like to hear. Sounds like Sampson’s doing something right and the fans are back behind the program 110%. From what I’ve read, Sampson’s already whipping the Hoosiers into shape, too. They should have a good showing.
