What a difference a year makes
This time last year, we had our final service as Sonlife/Southside Church. What we thought would be a “re-tooling” that would only last a few months has turned into a full year with amazing developments…
* Our facility is in the process of being sold. This is a very good thing.
* The amount of Community Groups has doubled (from 2 to 4, with several more in the works)
* Attendance has more than tripled (from circa 40 people at the final Sonlife/Southside service to 141 at the last Summit preview service) – with most of the growth happening in the Summer (the time when church attendance is supposed to decline).
* The Children’s areas are phenomenal. No longer an after-thought. Not that they really were, but we’ve definitely put an emphasis on running the Children’s ministries with excellence.
Overall, Summit Church is growing by huge increments with every preview service. Imagine what things will be like a year from now, after we actually officially open our doors!
