Aiden’s Birthday

OK – I’m a little late in posting these pictures. Sorry about that. Monday night, we surprised Aiden by taking him to a Cardinals game. Here’s just a taste of what happened:

* It was fan appreciation night, so we got in free. That’s always a good thing.

* Aiden wanted to buy a helmet last game, but they had run out. He tried to buy the helmet again and they were still out of them. He settled for a big red #1 finger (pictured).

* During the 4th inning, the announcer said, “The Johnson City Cardinals would like to wish Aiden Todd a happy birthday!” You have no idea how cool he thought that was! At first we thought he was embarrassed by the whole thing because he didn’t really do much. Then he finally told us that he was “shocked and surprised.” He couldn’t wait to get to school and tell all his friends that the Cards had wished him a happy birthday.
