Good News!
The state recently approved grant funding for some more preschools in our area. One of the schools that is adding a preschool class is Aiden’s school. That means that Aiden and Alyson will now be going to the same school! This will ease all kinds of scheduling problems we were going to run into trying to get the two kids in two opposite directions at the same time. And let’s not even begin to discuss the differences between year-round and traditional school calendars and how much grief that could have caused.
Could have had them take the bus, but I’m not sure how comfortable I am putting our (almost) 6 year old on a school bus. I know Christy’s not comfortable with it.
Alyson has already been enrolled in Aiden’s school. She doesn’t start till August 7, but the rest of her school calendar will be the same as Aiden’s. That’s a very good thing!
