What’s the past-tense of weed-eating?
Weed-eaten?
Weed-ate?
Weed-eated?
Nothing sounds right. Yes – this is the stuff I think of when I have no one to talk to while I’m working. Sad, isn’t it?
Well…back to cleaning carpets.

Weird thoughts
Well, I told you what I think about when I have no one to talk to.. you know.. the survey that I want to take.. 🙂 the kinda gross one.. 🙂
Re: Weird thoughts
I’ll go ahead and give you my answers…
#1 after smoking a cigar
#2 after eating eggs
I know, I know. Too much information.
By the way – what is the proper way to say it in the past-tense? Any idea?
I would just said I did the weed eating. My husband says Weed Eated. Who knows really? It’s probably one of those regional things where how you say it depends on where you live.
I basically say I did the weed eating, too. It’s just a mouthfull to say sometimes. I caught myself saying “I weed eated” one time and thought, that doesn’t make sense. From that point on, I’ve been curious what the past-tense is.
This is kinda confusing. Never thought of having this kind of realizations until I reached this blog. You can just use a past word before the main subject so that it can be considered as past tense word for weed eating.
