Apparently, not many people get the joke. Does it really need that much explanation?

I wonder what it says about you if your sense of humor is so obscure. What does obscure mean? If it means something bad, I don’t mean it. If it means random.. i mean it. I called a girl a “hoss” a few weeks ago as she carried two huge tables and she totally took offense. So.. i mean obscure in a nice, non-hoss-ish way.

Yes, my humor could be called obscure. Maybe that just means I’m smart.
Or maybe that just means I’m a Star Wars nerd and get the jokes other Star Wars nerds make. In Star Wars nerd-land, this joke isn’t that obscure.
If I ever called Christy a “hoss” as a compliment, I think she’d deck me. Hoss is OK for a guy to say to a guy, but I can’t imagine a guy saying it to a girl. Might as well go up to her, call her a cow and start to moo or something like that. It would be almost as subtle. Maybe the rules are different for girls talking to girls. I wouldn’t know.
