If first-century Christians were still considered a Jewish sect, would they have participated in the First Jewish Revolt?

If Nero burned Rome in 64 AD, increasing the tensions between Jews and Christians, then it probably isn’t likely that they willingly participated in the revolt that began in 66 AD.
