Snow! (4 of 5)
At around lap 30, it began to snow.
And snow.
And snow!
We grabbed whatever ponchos we had and shared them. In this picture, the snow had died down and we started to come out of our protective shells.
Then the snowballs began.
It was the world’s largest snowball fight. I tried to take pictures of it, but had the camera on the wrong setting. Pit crews were throwing snowballs at the crowd. The crowd was bombarding the pit crews. Not exactly what you’d expect at a race in March, but it was definitely memorable (and cold)!
