Since Summit Church (notice the cool countdown clock in the upper right-hand corner) is following the North Point model very closely, this article hit a little too close to home.
In related news, a one-time critic of video preaching and multi-campus churches has changed his mind. I like a lot of the Resurgence blog. I especially appreciate the Church Names post. We’ll definitely have to keep it in mind when the West Side Evansville church gets started (2008? 2009? 2020? Who knows?). I especially like the Hallelujah Intercession Compound. Yeah – that will practically beg people to check us out!
In case you couldn’t figure it out, I was kidding about the name. I think his list is funny – and it’s supposed to be.
