My Final Four
I really need to change my Final Four teams. They’re too trendy, I think. Gotta re-examine my picks. Anyhoo, here’s who I have right now:
UConn
Duke
Kansas
Ohio State
I have a dilemma right now. The real Final Four teams usually include an unexpected team I picked to go to the Final Four the year before and a Big Ten team. My teams last year were Illinois, Duke, ‘Nova, and Louisville. Maybe I should throw Villanova into the mix instead of Ohio State. Who would be my Big Ten team, then?
I really need to get back to studying for NTI…
Who puts a test in the middle of March Madness? Obviously a professor with no ties to a successful basketball program (he’s a USC fan [more of a football school, wouldn’t you say?] and a Boston U. alum).
I know it would mess up my brackets, but go Southern!

Shoes… are trendy.
Handbags…are trendy.
Haircuts…are trendy.
BUT… the FINAL FOUR should come from the HEART.
Even if it’s trendy.
And, the word “trendy” and basketball should never be used in the same bog entry. It’s kind of gay, Matt.
I thought about saying, “sexy,” but I know basketball picks are not sexy. That’s reserved for classes at Johns Hopkins that have to do with apocalyptic literature.
Is “cool” a better word? I just don’t like picking who all the experts pick – they’re rarely right. It’s kinda like watching for the Second Coming. You know what day it’s not going to be when someone says with authority, “Jesus will return on January 1, 2007.”
Sorry for all of the NT allusions. I’ve been studying for the stupid test we have on Friday – can you tell?
For the record, I’ve changed my Final Four picks. I’m sure I’ll change them again before tipoff tomorrow afternoon.

Apparently, no team has ever won the national championship after losing in the first round of their conference tournament. That rules UConn out. Time to change my brackets…

Iowa (yes, I said Iowa – they have a TON of seniors…I really don’t like any team in this bracket, honestly.)

I kept UConn in, but they lose to Nova in the Final Four.
I think I’m done picking. I’m in three different bracket contests, and I think I kept most of the picks the same. I’m pretty sure they all have the same Final Four, so I guess it’s time to wait and see…

I did two different brackets and the one with the Courier & Press (you pick that one round by round). I had the same Final Four teams with both of my brackets. That’s not waffling too much, is it?
