Prelude to Madness
OK – so it’s not even the semifinals of the “major” tournaments and it’s already become insanity.
George Washington (#6 in the country) got beat by Temple (8-8 in A-10)
Now Syracuse – a “bubble team” – just upended UConn (#1 in the country) by 2 in overtime in the Big East tourney. The Orangemen’s (I refuse to call them the “Orange!” Orangemen is a historical term and is not gender-based. That’s another post, though) top player made a last-second shot yesterday to win the game. Today, he made a 3-pointer (far behind the NBA line) to tie the game. In the end, Syracuse almost let it slip away, though.
It’s only just begun…
Can’t wait to watch the Big(11)Ten get started.
It’s madness, I tell you. Just madness!
