Delay

Christy and the kids were supposed to come home today. Unfortunately, Aiden got sick this morning as Christy was loading the car. There’s some bug that was going around up there and everyone in the house got sick, basically. I was hoping the kids’ immunity systems had been built up enough since they had already had a bout with the crud.

Guess not.

So – Christy and the kids are still up in Indy. They’ll try to make it home tomorrow. We were supposed to go to Asheville this weekend – just the two of us. That’s delayed until next weekend now. That’s OK, though. I just want everyone to be better and to get back here safe!

I’m ready for my family to come home – even if the house isn’t quite ready for them yet.
