Stomach Bug
Aiden went to the doctor again this morning. You know what that means – yes, he threw up again last night. When he woke up this morning, he came up to me and said, “Dad, I tried to wake you up last night, but you didn’t come.”
“Why did you try to wake me up?”
“Because I threw up.”
I felt horrible. Then I went in his room and checked. Sure enough, he threw up in his bucket. I guess he then rolled over and went back to sleep. Poor guy.
So – back to the doctor today. They originally said they wanted to run more tests to figure out what was wrong. A different doctor was in today. He looked at Aiden’s charts. Checked the bloodwork. Examined Aiden. Then said that although it’s rare to have a stomach bug this long, it’s probably just some kind of flu and not the laundry list of possibilities we were given on Saturday. If he’s still getting sick in 2-3 weeks, then there’s a reason to be concerned. Not yet, though.
So – he’s just having a longer than usual bout with the crud.

YEAH! I’m not glad Aiden has the stomach flu for a long period of time, but I am glad it’s not serious…
