Sickness
I woke up early this morning to finish my Greek homework before class. I was up no longer than 10 minuets when Aiden appears in the hallway saying, “Daddy, I need a drink.” His face was flushed and his voice was shaky. That only meant one thing…
Aiden needed to get into the bathroom – quickly! He was speaking Aiden-speak for, “I think I’m going to throw up now.”
He actually got in the bathroom before Aiden began to share the love. He got sick several times this morning and was fine this afternoon. Tonight, he got sick one more time. Hopefully it’s the last time. I think we let him get too wound up – it’s hard to keep a kid still when he feels good after feeling so yucky.
Aiden hates getting sick. I think he thinks only babies get sick, so he tries to fight it with all his might. That’s why he won’t ever say he’s going to get sick. I think he understands the power of suggestion.
Hopefully he’ll sleep through the night and will be fine in the morning. He can’t go to preschool tomorrow so I’ll be staying home from classes to take care of him.

Poor Little Guy
I hope he gets to feeling better soon. My two are just now getting over it. Once they feel a little bit better, they’re off and running again. Even if they aren’t totally better. Logan learned that one the hard way Monday.
