Sports Illustrated says Davis resigned tonight. Did they jump the gun?
I’m watching ESPN 2 right now and they’re about to do a story about Davis, it appears.

**UPDATE**
ESPN 2 says Davis has scheduled a news conference for Thursday afternoon. He is expected to announce his resignation effective the end of the season.
