Atlanta (again)
We spent this weekend visiting Buckhead Church in Atlanta again. While I’m not sure if I took any new information away from the actual church visit, we had a good time playing Cranium with the rest of the core group that came down. It’s been too long since I’ve played Cranium. It was fun. In spite of our numerical disadvantage – we had 3, everyone else had 4 – we won. I guess , Christy, and I make an all-star Cranium team…or something like that. Melissa did a fabulous job impersonating a lava lamp. Be sure to ask her about it.
At the last minute, the “Inlaw” offered to watch the kids Saturday night. So, we left them here while we went to Atlanta. Don’t get me wrong – I love being with the kids. Traveling with them is usually pretty fun. It was nice to be able to go out of town without having to worry about one of them wandering off, getting into something they’re not supposed to, or refusing to go to sleep because we were in a hotel room. It was a whirlwind trip, but it was still a little more relaxed than the trips had been in the past.
