I have just been informed that the overarching theme of the 2007 North American Christian Convention will revolve around church planting.
Looks like we’ll be spending the 4th of July ’07 in Kansas City. It’s a 13 hour drive from here. Too bad we don’t know anyone in the Kansas City area, because I’m not sure we’ll be able to afford a hotel. I guess we have a year and a half to meet some people!

It’s still a year and a half away. I’m sure we’ll be able to figure something out, though.
Too bad you don’t know anyone in the hotel industry that can get you a room for $40 a night. But oh wait, you do! Can’t make reservations more than a year in advance, but provided I don’t hit the lottery and quit my job, talk to me in July if you want me to book you in.
Hey, if you do win the lottery and quit your job, why not just toss us a couple hundred dollars so we could still get a hotel? 🙂

Shoot, darlin’, I’ll just buy you a hotel. I’m sure I’ll be able to spare $5 million or so. But actually I’m just letting God know that I don’t need the big cahuna, just 500 grand or so.
Thanks! I didn’t even think of my friends in the hotel industry! It’s nice to have friends in high places. I’m sure we’ll talk about this sometime this Summer. You rock!

I thought that we had reserved that date eternally.. looks like the convention’s off. you can stay with us for free. .. or you can charge us a fee to stay with you.
