Wow – I didn’t realize I’d visited 62% of the States. Maybe it’s a higher percentage, but I can’t remember which New England states I’ve been in. I know I’ve officially been in Utah, but I don’t think stepping one foot across the state line at the Four Corners really counts.
UPDATE: Thanks to input from “The Old Man,” the map should be correct. Now it’s 64%

childhood vacations
you have driven through (ridden through, actually) Connecticut and Rhode Island – on vacation with your family (summer of 1987, as I recall… BOn Jovi and Ghostbusters were big, and IU had won its most recent national championship).
Overall, not a bad memory, I would say.
ON the other hand, I’m not sure we took you through Nebraska … was that a “non-parent” trip?

Now that you mention it, I don’t think I’ve been to/through Nebraska, either. I figure if I count Oklahoma and West Virginia (I’ve only driven through them…maybe stopped for gas), then I should count Connecticut and Rhode Island
