Cannot keep silent

I believe we have a duty to keep persecuted Christians in our continual thoughts and prayers. We also have a responsibility to tell others of their experiences and their witness. It has been said that there were more Christian martyrs in the 20th century than in all previous centuries combined. It doesn’t seem like that is going to stop in the 21st century.

China has been cracking down on the underground Chinese church for years. Here’s the latest example of their assault on the faithful.

The crime? Passing out Bibles.

Christmas is coming up. Maybe we should make sure we don’t buy Christmas lights that were Made in China (make sure you read the second page of the article mentioned above).

We worry about acceptance here in the States when we talk about the Gospel message. We have no idea what persecution really is.
