Theology
You scored as Emergent/Postmodern. You are Emergent/Postmodern in your theology. You feel alienated from older forms of church, you don’t think they connect to modern culture very well. No one knows the whole truth about God, and we have much to learn from each other, and so learning takes place in dialogue. Evangelism should take place in relationships rather than through crusades and altar-calls. People are interested in spirituality and want to ask questions, so the church should help them to do this.

Howdy. I'm Matt. My wife, Christy, and I have four kids and two dogs, I'm passionate about orphan care. I'm a die-hard fan of the Evansville Aces, the Indiana Hoosiers, and Star Wars. I'm trying to live life by the Todd family motto: "It behooves us to live!"

Religious discourse requires subjectivity acknowledging itself as such, rather than as something more. I recommend the following blog: http://deligentia.wordpress.com/2009/11/03/objective-vs-subjective-a-matter-of-biblical-hyperbole/
I have no doubt that our experiences influence our theology. We can’t help but bring in at least some level of subjectivity as we approach the text. I think this is where I see the Emergent/Emerging/”postmodern” point of view – and agree with it to a point. It’s give and take, though. Our theology should shape our approach to life experiences, but our experiences also shape our theology. No doubt about it.
