My Nephew
Jaron Michael Todd was born today. He died 5 hours later.
He lived longer than we had expected. Thank God for answering that prayer. This has been the most horrible night of my life, but it is comforting to know that Jaron isn’t struggling anymore as he is dancing with Jesus.

Jaron
He was beautful, wasn’t he? Maybe I’m crazy, but that night was wonderful in so many ways.. God answered every prayer.. he masterfully engineered family from all over the place–Evansville, South Bend, D.C., Tennesseee, and Dayton to arrange for everyone to be there in time to meet Jaron and welcome him to the family, He gave Jaron the strength to survive the birthing process, he was with us for 4.5 hours–way more than we hoped, and took Jaron when the suffering became too much for him and us. We were able to tell Jaron that we love him and that we would be with him soon. We gave him a bath, fed him, clothed him, kissed him, and got 244 pictures, an hour of film, and 10 sets of hand/foot prints. And beyond all of those blessings, all of this happened in PEACE. Only God could give peace like we experienced that night. Jaron only experienced love in his short life–and you guys showed him so much love. I loved watching you love him–it was a vision of what Jaron’s welcome into Heaven probably looked like that night. ..And let’s not forget God’s greatest blessing of all–Healing. God healed Jaron immediately. We saw it in his face as soon as his spirit left, he was at complete and total peace. God restored to Jaron what the evil world stole from an undeserving child. God is good.
Re: Jaron
Liz,
You and Kevin amaze me! There is no other way to say it. God has honored your prayers and he touched more lives in his four and a half hours on this earth than most of us hope to touch in a lifetime!
I know there is no way for us to ease the pain of losing Jaron. I wish I could take that from you guys. My prayer is that God will continue to honor your prayer for Jaron’s life and he will continue to impact more lives throughout the years. Hopefully that will bring you some comfort and encouragment over the years.
