Car update

We have our car back. It runs fine.

Even though the gas gauge was just below a quarter tank, and no fuel light came on, the tank was bone dry. I had mentioned something to Frank about bringing a gas can just in case on Friday night. He didn’t do it and I forgot all about it.

We towed it to the Browns’ house, ready to look into the possibility of a fuel filter or fuel pump problem. Dale (Frank’s brother) suggested that we try gas – just in case. We added two gallons and the car started right up!

God sure has His ways of putting us in our place and showing us how much we need Him and His community! He has shown me countless times this week how He is my Provider – through little stuff, like going to see Episode III (hopefully I’ll actually get to post about it today), to larger stuff like the car issue and countless other acts!

It’s still embarrassing, though!
