Prayer requested

Shortly after I posted my previous entry, we received a phone call. Christy’s dad was in the process of being loaded onto an ambulance, bound for the hospital. He fell and broke his hip last night.

In the process of assessing him, they discovered more serious issues that need to be addressed before they work on his hip – requiring several serious operations.

Please pray for Christy’s dad and the doctors that God will bring about healing – whether through the simple, miraculous touch of His hand, or by guiding the doctors. I’m sure he’s scared (I know I would be).

Please pray for us, too (especially Christy). I know Christy didn’t sleep hardly at all last night. We’re trying to figure out how and when to get up there. It’s so hard waiting when you’re so far away!

Life is so fragile!!
