Home at last
Yesterday was one of those days where I totally related to Clark Griswold. How can a 7 hour drive turn into an 11 hour one? Only when going to Wally World, or returning home from Indianapolis.
The most frustrating thing was that I had a church leadership retreat to attend last night. I finally managed to make it – 4 1/2 hours after everyone else was there. It turned out to be a great time – what little time I was there. I’m really starting to see some bonding going on between us, and I think we have a shared vision for the next year. Pretty exciting stuff.
It was great seeing family in the Hoosier state. It’s still great to be home, though!
