In 49 states, it’s just basketball. But this is Indiana. We take basketball (and other sports) pretty seriously. And if your dad is a fan of Indiana like I am, you might be wondering what to get for him this Father’s Day.
I’m sure he’s going to love one of these suggestions.
Here are 16 Father’s Day ideas for the Indiana fan in your life:
Yes, there are many athletics teams at Indiana. And many of them are very, very successful (like the men’s soccer team). But when you think of Indiana, you think of basketball. And when you think of college basketball, you think of March. That’s why this Hoosiers “Made in March” Tee is a perfect gift, even though March is almost a year away.
Let’s face it, bleachers aren’t very comfortable. And in the Fall and Winter months? Metal bleachers are downright cold. If the Dad in your life is going to any amatuer games at all, he’s going to want this Indiana Hoosiers Seat Cushion. Trust me. He’ll be grateful.
And so will his hindquarters.
Nothing screams Indiana basketball like a pair of Mens Authentic Indiana Hoosiers On-Court Candy Striped Warm-Up Tear Away Pants. They’ve been the essence of cool since the team started wearing them in the 1970s.
They’re just as amazing now as they were then!
And it would look great with those candy striped pants. I’m just sayin’.
12-Pack Lunch Cooler
This Indiana Hoosiers 12-Pack Lunch Cooler is a great idea for when you’re planning a day away from home.
You can fill it with game day snacks or drinks for your tailgating get together. And it’s perfect for a Father’s Day picnic. Or he can use it to pack a lunch to work if he’d like. You really can’t go wrong with this crimson 12-pack lunch cooler.
A Rotating Lamp
Help Dad show his team spirit in the office by buying him this Indiana Hoosiers WinCraft Rotating Lamp. His colleagues will never be left in the dark about what team he’s cheering for. The lamp rotates a full 360 degrees in 40 seconds, showing the world Dad’s true sports colors.
It’s perfect for an office at work or the Living Room at home!
Nothing will show your neighbors who Dad is cheering for on game day like this Indiana Hoosiers 7′ Wordmark Razor Sail Sign. It’s a great way to display your Hoosier Pride for everyone to see – especially when they win a big game against one of their longtime rivals.
Those wins require a little extra celebration at our house.
I’m not going to lie. I want this table for myself. Whenever we have friends and family over for a cookout or the holidays, I can pull out this Indiana Hoosiers 2′ x 8′ Tailgate Table and bask in its glory. There’s plenty of room on this table for all of the food and drinks you can think of. And it folds up easily for simple storage. If anyone’s looking for a Father’s Day gift for me, I really, really want this (Hint, Hint).
With a black wooden frame and a suede top mat, this Authentic Framed 17″ x 31″ Assembly Hall Gameday Panoramic Photograph would be a beautiful addition to any wall. It would be great in Dad’s “Man Cave,” his office, or even hanging in the Living Room. This photo should probably be a “must-have” for any Indiana fan.
I have this Indiana Hoosiers 3-Piece BBQ Set. And I love it. I try to grill as often as possible. And when I do grill, I use this set. So it gets a pretty good workout – especially in the Summer.
Honestly? I don’t want to grill with any other utensils. I love them that much.
Whether it’s water, something warm, or an adult beverage, Dad has to drink something on Father’s Day. He has to stay hydrated, after all!
So why not get him this ceramic Indiana Hoosiers 15oz. Chrome Mug and let him show his school spirit as he kicks up his feet and relaxes while sipping away on his favorite libation?
I have to say, this Indiana Hoosiers Wordmark Four Season Event Cooler Table is pretty stinkin’ cool. There’s room enough in the cooler to keep 30 12 oz. cans cool while you’re hanging out and using the attached 20″x20″ tabletop.
It’s a must-have for any of Dad’s parties or tailgating events.
Stay hydrated while cheering on the Cream and Crimson with this Indiana Hoosiers Growler Jug and Pint Glass Set. The jug can hold approximately 64 oz. of liquid, so Dad is sure to quench his thirst while watching the game and celebrating after the win.
It comes with two 16 oz. glasses so friends and family can join in the fun!
Perhaps Dad has a favorite basketball from his favorite team. If not, you might want to consider buying one for him.
Then he can put it on display in this Indiana Hoosiers Golden Classic Logo Basketball Display Case with Mirror Back for any and all guests to see.
With its high-powered offense and high-scoring games, Indiana football is starting to see a bit of a resurgence. Help Dad celebrate the recent success buy giving him this Indiana Hoosiers Authentic College Football Helmet .Who knows? Maybe he’ll wear it to one of his tailgating parties.
That would be memorable.
Keith Smart Autograph
I remember “The Shot.” Even though it was almost 30 years ago, Even though they remember the other Shot much more vividly, I’ve done my best to help my kids remember “The Shot,” that Keith Smart made, too.
Any Dad who has followed Indiana for any amount of time would be ecstatic to have this Autographed Keith Smart Photograph of the 1987 GAME WINNING SHOT as part of his collection. Since he probably doesn’t want to hang banners inside the house, this would probably be the next-best thing.
I hope you found these suggestions useful. I’m sure Dad already knows you love him. You don’t have to shower him with gifts to prove that. But if you do want to give your Indiana fan a Father’s Day gift, you really can’t go wrong with any of these.
Oh, and if you need to wrap up your gift, we’ve got that covered, too, with a Hoosiers Gift Wrap Bow Set.
What more could you ask for?
Happy Father’s Day to all of the Dads out there! And
