Great Charlotte Adventure Recap (Part II): Good Eats!
Gotta share a few highlights of the good eats we had while on vacation….
Sticky Fingers
I’ve already mentioned this visit earlier on Life in the Fishbowl, but here’s a few pictures anyway.
I made Aiden try some of my dry-rub ribs. Now I’m gonna have to share from now on. What was I thinking?
Ethiopian at Meskerem Restaurant
The injera wasn’t overly-sour, which is just the way I like it. Flavorful. Decent price. Friendly service. A great meal that Christy and I were able to have by ourselves (thanks, Miki)!
The Chocolate Fetish
Since we were in North Carolina, we had to stop here. I think it’s in our family’s bylaws or something like that.
I have some thoughts about a change they were forced to make at the Chocolate Fetish a few years ago. It involves a monster-sized chocolate company and the name of a certain delicacy at the Asheville store. It’s not going to be pretty…
That’s the food highlights in a nutshell. We ate most dinners at the Browns’ home, which was a great thing. Good food. Good friends. Not nearly as chaotic and stressful as eating out. Win. Win. Win.

Love, love, love Sticky Fingers…we’ve eaten there a couple of times in Charleston…nothing beats southern ribs and sauce. And what WERE you thinking? 🙂
My suitemate in college introduced me to Sticky Fingers in Charleston and I’ve never looked back! We’ve had it in Charleston, Chattanooga, and now Charlotte. Gonna have to make a Sticky Fingers visit next time we’re in Asheville (followed by Chocolate Fetish, of course :D)
Now that two of us are big fans of ribs, I have an even better excuse to make some here! My evil plan is working!
