Las Vegas is known for having lines on every event in the Super Bowl, including the coin toss. Did I really hear that they had a line on what color Gatorade the winning coach would be drenched with?
I wonder if Vegas has a line for how many times Dick Vitale mentions “one Robert Montgomery Knight” during tonight’s IU/MSU game. I’m sure the over/under would be pretty high.
That being said, I’m glad that he has recovered from his throat surgery. He may be annoying at times, but college basketball just ain’t the same without him.

I understand what your saying and I agree with you 100%, but that was the first basketball game I ever watched without live commentary on the game itself. All I heard throughout the game was that K Sampson needed to be fired and then there was a little basketball thrown in. When I finally started counting when they brought up his and IU’s problems early in the 2nd half I counted 22 times that they mentioned it and that’s just the 2nd half.

At least he’s stopped calling for IU to name the floor after Knight. It’s already named after Branch McKracken.
Maybe they could name the scorer’s table after Knight, since he was so fond of the officials.
After listening to Mr. Vitale on Saturday, I wonder if he’s just become a parody of himself. He has meant so much to college basketball for so long, but I wonder how much he actually talks about the game that he’s supposed to be watching?
