Most-used Movie Lines

A few days ago, I heard about the results of a poll asking people the movie lines they quote the most. When I looked at the results, I quickly realized that none of the lines would appear on my list. I mean, honestly – how many people actually say “May the Force be with you” or “Here’s looking at you, kid” to each other? The only quote in the results that would come close to appearing on my list is the one from Forrest Gump. And in reality, I probably say “Run, Forrest!” more than I say the box of chocolates line.

Since the poll is out of touch with my own reality, I decided to create my own top ten list of most-used movie quotes by me, myself, and I…

10. “I am New Mexico!”
9. “Don’t get caught watching the paint dry”
8. “There’s no crying in baseball!”
7. “Who’s the more foolish – the fool or the fool who follows him?”
6. “Wait guys, I fell on my keys…Ow!”
5. “Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.”
4. “The horror.”
3. “Po-tay-toes! Boil ’em, mash ’em, stick ’em in a stew…”
2. “Who’s scruffy lookin’?”
1. “Okay, then.”

Now, here’s where the fun begins. Can you name the movies these are from? Some should be pretty easy. Others might be a little more difficult. I’m curious how well-known all of them are. And no cheating by looking the quotes up on another website!

I’d also like to know what your top ten most-used movie lines are. Either post them in the comments or on your own blog. If you do share it on your own blog, mention it here in the comments so I’ll be sure to check it out!
