Meanwhile, back at the ranch…
I’ve done some tinkering with layouts and such on

. I hope to be able to podcast by the end of this week/early next week. Then we’ll start publicizing it more with our congregation. I had a few ideas about what I thought the blog should be like and how it will be different from this Journal with some notable similarities. After reading The Blogging Church, I have even more ideas and my original ideas have been refined. Let’s just say the next few months should be interesting.
Among the most notable improvements to theJournal are the new color scheme and the addition of a “Subscribe” button in the upper right-hand corner. All readers of MattDanTodd Land are welcome to sign up.

Will Cowan members be invited to this journal?
yup. I’m not trying to hide anything. The main reason I’m doing two different Journals is because I figure most of the stuff I put on here isn’t really church-related. And most of the people who read this aren’t local and aren’t necessarily going to be as concerned about things like details about a baseball trip or a conversation regarding the coming week’s Bible study lesson. In other words, this one is more of my ‘personal’ journal and anakin_redeemed is my ‘professional’ one. In reality, the two will bleed together because there’s really no distinction between my ‘professional’ life and my ‘personal’ life. No double life or anything like that. Authenticity is the key.
