Happy Fourth!

We went to the Johnson City fireworks last night.  For five days, all we heard from Alyson was, “How much longer till the fireworks?”  Two minutes into the show, all we heard was, “When is it going to be over?”  For a town the size of Johnson City, the fireworks were quite impressive.

The kids went to a waterpark today.  Aiden still has his swimming trunks on, hence the camouflage.  When they got home, Aly decided to dress up in her Princess Leia costume and pretend she was a rock star.

Tonight, we had some friends over and had the usual Independence Day fare – hamburgers, pasta salad, Italian sausage, watermelon, and apple cobbler.  We finished the night with some sparklers, which are apparently illegal around here.  Didn’t know that until after we were done.  I guess ignorance is bliss.
