Aiden the Fighter

I guess they had to bring in the biggest, strongest, nurse to hold Aiden down while they were taking his blood today. Even with that, he wouldn’t stop kicking. Christy said he even tried to bite the nurse as she was sticking him with the needle.

I didn’t realize he could get that violent.

In his own words, the experience has gone from horrible…

to pretty bad…

to bad…

to not so bad

throughout the course of the day. Amazingly enough, his arm didn’t bruise very much – in spite of all of his twisting, kicking, squirming, and screaming. They didn’t get enough blood to send out to the lab, though. They had to do the tests “in house.” I don’t know how long it will take to get the results now. Hopefully, there’s enough of a sample. I’m sure they don’t want to bring him in and try to go through that again.

I know I don’t.

And I wasn’t even there.
